WHAT ARE LASH EXTENSIONS?

Eyelash extensions are a semi-perminent beauty service where a professional adheres synthetic fibers to individual natural lashes with a medical grade adhesive. Eyelash extensions last up to around 2-3 weeks, depending on your natural shedding cycle and retention. The service has gained popularity for its flattering affect on the face by lengthening and adding fullness to your lash line. This is a perfect service to achieve a "ready" look with minimal makeup and no mascara.

HOW LONG DO THEY LAST?

Eyelash extensions will last the length of your natural eyelashes growth cycle. Depending on your daily activities, you should only need a fill every 2-3 weeks.

CAN I GET THEM WET?

YES! You can shower, swim & exercise with your extensions! Just be sure to clean them immediately after.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GET THEM RETOUCHED?

Recommended is every two-three weeks depending on your clients natural lash growth. A natural eyelash sheds every 60-90 days on average. Remember: each lash is at a different stage of growth cycle. "Fills" are needed to replish the lashes that have gone through their life cycle.

CAN I WEAR MAKEUP WITH MY LASHES?

Eyelash extensions are designed to give your natural lashes the extra OOMPH and fullness you desire, so mascara is not needed. BUT you are able to wear other makeup around the eyes as long as the product is not oil based.

HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY LASHES?

You should cleanse your eyelashes EVERYDAY after the first 24 hours. Especially if you are on the more oily side, or are a regular eye makeup wearer. Keeping your lashes clean will also aid in your retention. **Make sure you are using OIL FREE products/makeup in your eye area. Oil based products can break up the glue holding your extension to your natural lash.

HOW DOES THE PROCESS LOOK LIKE? HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?

You will be reclined or laying flat comfortable with your eye close, while your extensions are being individually applied to your natural lashes. The procedure is relaxing and comfortable, most clients will fall asleep. The average time for a full set ranges anywhere from 2-4 hours and fills ranging from 1.5-2 hours.

HOW DO I WASH MY FACE?

Use your lash cleanser and bristle brush and gently scrub along your lash line. Continue skincare routine as normal, avoiding eyes with anything oil based.

WHY ARE MY EYES ITCHY?
Overly itchy eyes could be an indication that you are sensitive to the adhesive and you should consult with your stylist.

WILL EXTENSIONS DAMAGE MY NATURAL LASHES?
While the improper application of lash extensions can damage your natural lashes, lash extensions will not damage your natural lashes AS LONG AS they are applied safely and correctly.
